Christian and Classical Schools Need Leaders.

“A leader is a dealer in hope.” – Napoleon Bonaparte

Many Christian and classical schools deal with anxiety surrounding leadership. The Christian and classical renewal continues to grow and schools continue to start-up. As with any movement, there must be those who step up and lead. Our schools need heads. Our movement needs much prayer for God to send laborers to our work.

Circe is working to connect headmasters with schools. If you or anyone you know is looking for a school to serve as headmaster, please contact Circe as soon as possible. We are committed to serving the kingdom by linking schools with the headmasters they need.

Let’s work together to build genuine hope through Christian classical education.

Deliverance, Through Prayer

Paul, in prison, wrote this to the Philippians:

I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer…

While I find these words encouraging, they are also rather challenging. I think my Christian readers all understand that prayer is “the Christian’s vital breath,” and that it is the true means by which God brings about deep, lasting, healing change to a world so yearning for change. Paul is quite explicit here. He says that he will be delivered “through your prayer.” That is why I have always known that the “secret” of my life is that people have always prayed for me. Early in life it was out of pity for my mother, but so be it.

Let me repeat my request from yesterday: please remember CiRCE and my family in your prayers. Without Christ we can do nothing. I’m asking you to pray that our Lord will provide wisdom and courage. The rest will follow.

Let me end with heartfelt thanks.

Now off to the apprentice retreat!
